Our Services
Hearing aid evaluation and selection
During a hearing aid evaluation, you will meet with a licensed professional who will discuss with you the different styles, colors, and technologies that are available. They will go over the results of your hearing test to help you learn how wearing hearing aids could be of specific benefit to you. You may be shown different styles or have the opportunity to try a few devices for fit.
ear molds
We can order custom-made earmolds based on the exact contours of your ears. Earmolds are often coupled with hearing aids to ensure a perfect fit and correct amplification, but can also be used for noise protection which is crucial for farmers, hunters, and any other individuals who are routinely exposed to high levels of noise periodically or on a daily basis.
Hearing aid fitting
At your hearing aid fitting, you will receive hearing aids that will be custom fit to you and will be programmed based on a prescription that is specific to your individual hearing loss. Typically our customers will return for 2-3 follow up appointments to allow the hearing professional to make any minor adjustments and ensure the settings and fit are ideal.
Pure Tone & Speech Hearing Tests
If you think you may need hearing aids, a full audiometric hearing test should be administered. In the Pure Tone Hearing Test you will be tested using a series of sounds and words at various frequencies and intensity. The results will help us to determine not only your degree of hearing loss, but also your ability to understand speech in various situations, and how hearing aids may help improve on that ability.
hearing aid repairs
Some minor hearing aid repairs can be done right here in our office and we offer those services on a walk-in basis; no appointment necessary. In some cases, hearing aids cannot be repaired in-house and will need to be sent to the manufacturer. Our staff can help you determine what kind of repair is necessary if you feel your hearing aid is not working properly.
